Alot has happened at the farm since the last post

I know i know its been a long time since i posted last and im sorry to all of you who follow my blog for the wait..but anyways a lot has happened my shaela gulmoget and black/white yuglet sokket ewe arrived about 1.5 weeks ago thought they were going to be my last new sheepies for awhile but i was wrong, a good friend of mine contacted me about a trade so i am now getting a white ewe, a grey and white berssugget ewe and a Ag black ewe lamb in exchange for a ram lamb and a ewe, i will be getting my 3 new beauties at the garden state sheep and wool festival on september 12th, i will post pics of all of the new sheep after i get the newest three home..these WILL be the last three sheep i purchase for awhile (unless someone has a sheep at the festival i cant live without ;) lol ) i will be using 3 possibly 4 rams this fall, minwawe bahama a fawn and white yuglet sokket, spring hills tommy boy a moorit smirslet, spring hills nugget an emsket katmoget, and possibly can too seneca a mioget ram lamb..more info on who will go with who later on.

Apparently bahama does not like being inside

well i found out the hard way that bahama does not like being locked in places...the weather man was predicting bad storms over the night so i locked all of the sheep inside, i usually leave the ram side open so they can go in and out..well we didnt get storms and the next morning i went up and bahama had knockd my big barn door off of its hinges and snapped the locks..needless to say i am less than happy with mr. bahama at the moment grrrrrrrrrr

Updates

Nothing much is new 3 of the 5 new sheep im bringing in this year are coming at the end of the month! those 3 are minwawe serendippity from kara mapstone and sheltrng pines pyrenees morn and whispring pines mornig glory both from jennifer johnson thanks so much too the both of you!! so excited for that! pictures when i get them...still have some nice ram lambs available that would make great flock sires or fiber animals/pets prices are reasonable and negotiable..sadly anybody that doesnt sell will be sent "away"

R.I.P Little oscar

On April 14th 2010 i welcomed cute little oscar and his sister into this world and promised him he'd have the best care around, sadly May 31st 2010 I had to see my baby boy leave this world. He was a great little ram with a lot of potential he will be greatly missed by me and the rest of the flock, the whole flock would come and check on him through the day so at least he died knowing a lot of people and animals cared about him. He got caught up somewhere i belive and broke off part of his one horn and hurt his leg and it got infected and no medicine would cure him. Rest in peace littel guy you are greatly loved and missed

Nothing new here lambs are getting big pics as soon as my computer decides to let me use blogger correctly....i will be bringing in 4 new ewes this summer minwawe serendippity(silver bells half-sister), shetlrng pines pyrenees morn a grey kat., whispring pines morning glory a moorit gulmoget, and twin springs ivy a shaela gulmoget. maybe 1 2 or 3 more after these 4 this summer.... although do i really need another sheep?? il let you guys answer that for me LOL
